This project required significant stormwater management control as part of the expansion of an industrial facility in Kitchener. A subsurface detention tank was constructed beneath the parking lot to provide over 1,700m3 of storage. To provide the highest void ratio possible, a concrete tank was constructed using a plastic forming system. The tank was constructed with the ability to withstand H20 loading to allow for shallow construction.
